Clinton Housing Development Company serves the residents of the Middle West Side and specifically those who reside in the Community Board 4 catchment area that encompasses the neighborhoods of Clinton/Hell's Kitchen and Chelsea.
Over its nearly 50-year history, CHDC has partnered with public and private organizations to preserve or build affordable housing and provide supportive services for those in need. CHDC apartments include rentals for low-, middle-, and moderate-income households, affordable co-ops, and supportive housing for the formerly homeless, elderly, and for those with social service needs. CHDC is committed to maintaining the community's cultural and economic diversity.
CHDC currently serves 766 households in apartments and co-ops managed or owned by CHDC; all fall within the following AMI range: 50%, 60%, 80%, 120%, 125%, 165%.
